With over 20 years in the cruise ship entertainment industry, Luna Rossa Productions is a UK based company, whose creative team have an eclectic mix of experience and skills in Television, Theatre and the world’s finest Cruise Vessels. From concept to completion, we build exciting and innovative shows bespoke for you and your  guests or we can work within a limited budget and provide ‘off the shelf’ high quality shows ready to go!

With an office and ‘in house’ rehearsal space in London, Luna Rossa Productions work in the most cost effective way delivering phenomenal talent, gorgeous costumes and breathtaking music. Our creative team have first-hand knowledge and experience in cruise ship entertainment and we truly believe that no other production company can offer the variety of experience and knowledge that we possess, not to mention nicer people to work with! We are passionate about what we do!

Marc Sorrentino

MANAGING DIRECTOR & PRODUCER

After a 12 year career as a performer in Theatres, Television and Cruise Ships, Marc continued his career in entertainment management before setting up his own leading entertainment company in 1999. He has produced shows on several cruise ships and for hotels in Japan, Greece and UK. He has provided turn-key entertainment, managing teams of up to 50 members as well as leadership personnel and staffing in many other areas, for vessels including, Silverseas, Oceania Cruises, Regent Seven Seas, Seabourn and Disney Cruise Line. He regularly auditions musicians and performers for placements around the world. He has excellent knowledge of the industry and Marc believes the company’s success rests on its ability to match both talent and etiquette, a winning and essential formula for success on the high seas.

Michelle Tough

CREATIVE DIRECTOR & PRODUCER

Michelle is a highly trained dancer in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Modern Dance. A highly achieving academic, she also speaks 5 Foreign Languages. After an 11 year career as a performer, travelling worldwide for various different cruise lines, theatres and resorts, her ability and passion to choreograph quickly earned her the role of Dance Captain and further progressed to Production Manager in charge of teams of up to 35 artists and technicians. She has harnessed her experience and ideas to create and co-produce outstanding shows. With her sharp attention to detail and meticulous organisation skills combined with her forward thinking and innovative visionary, Michelle is quickly becoming a leading creative eye in the world of cruise ship show production!

Bethany Compson-Bradford

VOCAL DIRECTOR

Beth is a highly experienced Vocal Tutor and Performer.She specialises in Pop, Jazz and Musical Theatre and has over 8 years of West End  experience under her belt.  She creates beautiful and sometimes quite moving vocal scores, whether it’s a ‘show stopping’ solo, a beautiful duet or a 6 part harmony. Beth’s  arrangements are creative, original and polished. She has an ability to work with all ages, teaching and instilling, breath management, good posture and core support, expansion of range and has a knack boosting confidence and performance skills.

Steve Howell

SCENIC DESIGN

Steve began his career at the Theatre Royal, York before moving to Salisbury Playhouse as Head of Design for a number of years. He has also designed productions for International Music Festivals, the English Theatre of Vienna and the Olivier stage at the Royal National Theatre. In recent years he has worked extensively for a number of luxury cruise line companies all over the world. He has designed shows for all of the P&O Cruises’ fleet, as well as shows for Cunard, Costa Cruises, Seabourn and Regent Seven Seas. He has designed a number of operas for the Dorset Opera Festival – Il Trovatore, Suor Angelica , La Traviata and The Flying Dutchman and is currently preparing designs for Summer Festival productions, Aida and Fidelio.

Richard Balcombe

MUSICAL ARRANGER

With a whole host of worldwide Opera, Orchestral, TV, Recording and Theatre Credits, Richard is firmly established as one of the most versatile of his generation. Theatre credits include, music director for the West End’s ‘The Phantom of the Opera’, ‘Aspects of Love’, and ‘Cats’. He was music associate for BBC TV’s Maestro and he arranged, orchestrated and conducted the score for Adam Cooper’s Shall We Dance (Sadlers Wells). He has worked with some of the world’s leading orchestras including Gothenburg Symphony, Orchestre National de Lille, LPO and the RPO to name just a few. In September 2012 he conducted Proms in the Park in Hyde Park and has provided orchestrations for artists such as Lesley Garrett, Willard White, Michael Ball, Sir Cliff Richard, Will Young and Ronan Keating.

Elizabeth Webb

COSTUME DESIGNER

Elizabeth graduated from London College of Fashion with a BA HONS in Costume for Performance. An independent and innovative designer, she possesses advanced skills in costume making and has extensive experience in costume supervision for stage and screen. She has a particular interest in print design and realisation, and a flare for illustration – Elizabeth is most well known for her striking evening gown designs. Every piece is produced specifically for each set and character, with the selected clothes and colour scheme conveying information about the character and mood of the songs. She has in particular a unique ability to visualise how each individual costume will fit into an overall stage picture, giving each its proper place, be it for a leading vocalist or a chorus part.

Dave Williams

MUSICAL DIRECTOR

Producer, composer and songwriter – Dave’s wealth of experience and knowledge is second to none. He has a natural talent for playing piano and guitar and is able to use this to create his music with unique and dynamic effect. Having composed and produced the music for some large scale projects over his many years in the industry such as ‘Spirit of the Dance’ and ‘Broadway!’ it’s clear to see why he is one of the industry’s leading professionals in his field. Dave clearly has a true passion for what he does and this is clearly evident through his creations and his work ethic to get the perfect end result.

Adam Wright

LOGISTICS CONSULTANT

With twenty years spent in cruising as a Performer, Cruise Director and land based Entertainment Manager, Adam brings unique industry experience to the team. More recently his land based performing arts studios keep him at the cutting edge of current trends in popular music and theatre. He is an accomplished percussionist, audio editor and audio re-mixer having completed various show projects for production shows over his vast career.
